Event Description: Flamenco vocal sensation Diego Guerrero and Madrid-based band El Solar de Artistas make their Australian performance debut at City Recital Hall Angel Place Friday 9 March 2012 In their first Australian performance together, international vocal musician Diego Guerrero and his extraordinary Latin flamenco band El Solar de Artistas will captivate at Sydney’s City Recital Hall Angel Place on Friday 9 March at 8pm when they perform a wonderfully diverse concert that traverses the genres of guaguanco, bulería, tango, copla and rumba flamenca. Diego Guerrero y el Solar de Artistas are a fast rising force on the international music scene, with Guerrero recently described as the “Quincy Jones of flamenco”. At just 29 years of age, this talented young flamenco vocalist is also making a name for himself as a gifted arranger and composer.
