Following on from a great response to his recent flamenco workshops in Melbourne teaching unique choreography for a Garrotín, Farruca and a Seguiriya; Antonio Vargas still has a few final dates in Australia before he travels to Europe for performances.
Once more Vikingo de Jerez perform at Open Studio in Northcote, an intimate nightspot with a strong following attracted to the regular lineup of gypsy and Balkan bands.
The last performance on the 14th of May was a great night and something really special for those who lasted to enjoy the spontaneity and fun of the flamenco fiesta that erupted at the end of the night.
This performance will be extra special as Antonio Vargas will be in attendance and depending on how the deunde evolves on the night, you could witness any one of his multiple flamenco talents.
8pm, $15 Entry.
