Flamenco Video Night will be a regular event, right here online at Flamenco Australia dot org.
FlamencoAustralia.org, the Flamenco Australia Online Magazine officially opens in a fortnight. Day one for us is March 15th 2010.
This will be a busy two weeks for the team, it’s pre-launch week for us and the countdown begins today at T-minus 10.
The first official event will also mark the first day of our week and a range of regular happenings here on <FlamencoAustralia.org>. So on our big night, in just two weeks, we will be bring you one of the best documentaries ever made about flamenco, in full and streaming right here on March 15th AEST after 8pm. Then every Monday night at 8pm we will continue to bring you a flamenco video night available each week after 8 o’clock.
This will be Movie Monday or as we like to call it “Palomitas Lunes” (Popcorn Monday). Your presenter each week will be Pablo, the popcorn seller (we couldn’t afford any one famous), luckily all he has to do is say a few words about the video. José will be the one making sure the films run smoothly, he doesn’t speak English but he is the only one we could find that can run our archaic equipment.
Next week I will introduce Pablo and José and allow the boys to have a little test run before we officially launch.
So join us each week anytime after 8pm and catch our featured flamenco videos on movie night.
