Cristian Lozano is a flamenco dancer and a former Soloist of the National Ballet of Spain, Madrid. In 2009, alongside Australia’s Paloma Gómez, Christian Lozano performed as a guest artist with the Spanish Dance Theater, resident dance company of the Northeastern Illinois University of Chicago.

In February 2011, Cristian played ‘Don Jose’ in Compania Aida Gomez’s production of a flamenco “Carmen” at the Sadler Wells Flamenco Festival. He has also perfomered at the BIENAL DE FLAMENCO DE SEVILLA and blew audiences away with his Farruca performance as ‘Descartes’ in Javier LaTorre’s ‘El Deunde y el Reloj’ at the 2010 Cordoba Guitar Festival and Festival de Jerez 2011.

Also credited as Christian Lozano, Cristian is also an internationally renown flamenco dance teacher. In 2011 he returns to Chicago to teach a Farruca workshop at the Ensemble Española center for Spanish dance and music
