Internationally acclaimed Ten-String guitarist Matthew Fagan aka ‘Lord of the Strings’ who has toured with Billy Connolly, The Buena Vista Social Club, Natalie Cole and more combines musical passion and virtuosity to celebrate España, El Vito, the Spirit of Spain and Latin America and Love.

Highlights from Matthew’s first vinyl 12 inch LP “El Vito, The first new Spanish guitar vinyl release in Australia in 30 years also on CD will be performed at the concert.

Matthew presents a stunning concert infusing exhilarating flamenco into Spanish classical masterpieces from Albeniz to Rodrigo alongside, Traditional Flamenco and Flamenco Dance Music.

The show also features the colourful and rhythmic sounds of South American Classical and Latin masterpieces from composers Villa-Lobos, Lauro, Piazzolla & Gismonti.

Matthew will also share his stunning arrangement of Bach’s Tocatta as featured on ABC TV originally arranged for the 53 night tour around Australia with Billy Connolly.

Audience participation is encouraged in the hilarious Guitar Challenge where Matthew spontaneously performs a medley of audience guitar requests.

Guest singer Kellie Grace will share vibrant, joyous and romantic Latin Bossa Nova Jazz, hit songs including 'The Girl from Ipanema', 'Manha De Carnavale' and more. Songs expressing love using nature as a metaphor. Experience some songs bilingually in English and beautiful Portuguese and the sharing of the translation of lyrics direct form Portuguese to English which enable the listener enter deeper into the meaningful love experience of what is believed to be the second most recorded pop song in history, after "Yesterday" by The Beatles. Love song favourites will also feature in the performance.

Kellie’s warm sensual and intimate vocals combined with Matthew's impressive finger-style guitar technique create an intimate connection with the audience through their superb technical ability and passionate execution.
