18th January 2020 is the time to get your flamenco on again in the Blue Mountains! We’ll be starting the new year learning to play the Cajon with one of Australia's best percussionists, Byron Mark and dancing Flamenco with Annalouise Paul.
Dancers who want to drum and drummers who’d like to dance or accompany, we learn patterns on the Cajon and then we dance them. This is all about rhythm and coordination and a fun introduction to flamenco! Cajon literally means ‘crate’ and has Peruvian origins but has taken root in flamenco since the 1980’s.
Join a fun, relaxed and supportive atmosphere and if you're doing both workshops bring some lunch for the short break between workshops, we’ll provide some nibbles and drinks too. Children are welcome too! Ole!
Places are limited so book yours now. Contact Annalouise on 0408 664 199 or annalouise[at]annalouisepaul.com.au
